July 2022 Event – The ups and downs of being a Professional Property Investor

July 13 @ 7:30 pm - 9:15 pm

| $40
Cameron Stewart is not your typical Property Investor type.
He enjoyed a normal rural childhood in Invercargill; hunting, fishing and playing rugby. His Dad was a freezing worker and Mum was a stay at home Mum, he did not come from a financially abundant mentality, the family lived pay cheque to pay cheque and he did not get much experience in regards to finances in general.
At 16 he left school to pursue various jobs in the agricultural industry and loved working on farms and working with animals but soon realised that if he was ever to own his own farm he would need to do something different.
At age 18 he took a job as an exploration driller in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, just as the mining boom was kicking off. Suddenly, he had more money than he knew what to do with, so did what all the guys were doing, worked hard and played even harder. During his fifth year in Kalgoorlie, a onsite accident left him with a major spinal injury. That was it for him – no more physical work. His entire livelihood was ripped away.
After enduring extensive operations and rehabilitation, he started reading self-improvement books and learning about personal finance and wealth. He took a job as a livestock agent in the King Country, this decision set him on a different path learning the skill of sales and becoming conditioned to rejection and failure.
But again he became discontent with his financial position and started to search for another angle , and made a big call and paid for a 12 month property course on his credit card. Weekly he made the four-hour commute from the King Country to Auckland to meet with his first property mentor. At just 24 years of age, he started to renovate and sell properties in South Auckland, working up to buying and selling more than 50 houses in a year.
By age 37 he’s been involved in more than 300 + transactions across all types of residential property , cosmetic trade renovations , extensive reclad projects , new builds , infill developments , home & income conversions, small subdivisions, minor dwellings & consulted on large land procurement projects.
It’s needless to say that his team have done most things related to the residential property market and this gives great insights and knowledge in helping others.
